The director of our project management group is hesitating at expanding enterprise analysis as a service offering of the business analyst team. I'm developing a presentation to help educate him as well as others on the management team about what enterprise analysis is and the benefits associated with conducting these activities.

Has anyone created a financial justification for doing enterprise analysis, or have statistics on how it has improved (i.e. reduced) cycle time for completing requirements definition activities?
