Hi

My current project is about to move from Business Process to Requirements analysis. I have documented a number of issues in a simple tracking document but I'd like to capture them instead in a flexible "issue tracking tool".

I am looking for recommendations with these caveats

a> I cannot, in the short term, get the tool installed on the client's production network. Thus, the tool/ SW needs to be capable of living on its own on a laptop with the real chance of moving to the network once it is "approved"/"sanctioned"

b> I'd like to get it for under $500 CDN. I only need 1-2 licenses in the near term

c> Platform is XP, SP2; IIS is not yet enabled, .NET Fwk 2.0

Any ideas??
