IREB or BABOK
Hi,
I would appreciate any information regarding the main diferences (benefits) of being certified in BABOK or IREB. We are currently evaluating which is the most adequate option for a group of Business Analysts but haven't been able to find clear diferences between both certifications.
Thanks.

Minimum education for IIBA CBAP
I found the minimum education as high school diploma for IIBA CBAP. Click the following link for details:

It really does not matter which certification came earlier. All that matters is what is the objective and what is achieved against the set objective. Do these certitifications compete for the same end result? Do they both aim to produce professionals with proven expertise in software systems requirements management:
1) identification
2) elicitaion
3) analysis
4) modeling and documentation
5) validation
6) prioritization
7) management
It seems IREB focuses on software requirements engineering (system perspective) and aligns/partners with SEI, ISO, IEC, IEEE, etc. CBAP focuses more on business modeling, not so much of in-depth system perspective. Having said that, i must admit that am not certified in either of these.
